Has anyone in the private sector or in a Local Authority undertaken a noise risk assessment for refuse freighter operators? If so, would you be willing to share some of your findings? Thanks,

I know that a colleague and I did some in a previous job. Howereve we don't have access to the data anymore. We both worked for Cory Environmental, if you get hold of one of their safety team they may be able to let you have some data. I remember we did some 3-axle refuse lorries (single hoppers, split bodies, and specialist), as well as some road sweepers. The road sweepers were the noisiest in the cab due to the donkey engine being mounted behind the cab. The refuse lorries were noisier outside and a big issue for the loaders, especially if road side sorting was going on.

I seem to recall glass collection vehicles being scarily high, but I'm afraid I don't have access to the data.
