I work for a shopfitting company and part of my job is to create O&M Manuals for the equipment we provide. In the past 3 years, I have created several O&M Manuals, but I have never actually been trained on how to create this sort of document. I would like to think that what I am currently doing is right, however, as I have not received any negative or positive feedback from Main contractors or any of our clients, I wonder if the documents I produce are correct and how they could be improved. Does anybody know where I could find out what information must be contained in an O&M Manual? I have done some research on the internet but I rather rely on expert advice. Any help would be much appreciated.
