Apologies in advance as this has probably been posted before but I have just seen Lord Youngs attack on Health and Safety on the BBC Talk show. So many half baked untruths its quite staggering. My question, Is IOSH going to formally respond to this ??? Televised debate perhaps ? This in my view is a serious threat to the protection of workers in this country. Dont forget this is not clarkson but a Government spokesman. IOSH need to meet this head on and step up to the mark

At 9 this morning on the HSE website they had a pdf copy of the short letter from Lord Young to Judith Hackitt. This letter contained his email address. Now when I look at it again these details have been removed. Have too many of us bombarding him with our opinions or am I just losing it.

So what was his email address then? This review feels to me a bit like 'putting the fox in charge of the chickens'. Not quite the right metaphor but it sort of fits.

I did not take a note of it initially and when I went back it had gone. The HSE press office has now said that it was an oversight to publish his details. Ken
