I have a number of FRAs to complete north of the border - my first foray into an area where the Fire (Scotland Act) applies as all of my work has been in England. I have just read a summary of the Fire Scotland Act from the excellent infoscotland website and have concluded that in essence the practical task of assessing risk and compiling a report is the same. I will need to alter my FRA template to take account of the different legislation, but I am concerned that I may be missing the main differences. Therefore, can anyone point me towards a summary of the main differences of the two pieces of legislation in terms of responsibilities, duties and the like. In particular, all the buildings involved are multi occupied so I would be interested in there's any Scottish specific legislation regarding this type of premises.
