Im not sure you'll find a perscribed time period where refresher training should be carried out for fire wardens / marshalls.
The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, sections 18 & 21 talks about the requirements for safety assistance, and their training which should be repeated periodically where appropriate.
This puts the onus back on you to make the decision. I wouldnt get too hung up on this one, be sensible, if you are in a low risk environment then I cant see why an annual refresher wouldnt be suffice.
I will say Im not an expert of fire, and Im sure one of the forum fire gurus will provide some guidance.

Hi S60WL, As guru quite rightly stated, it depends on the environment you operate in. You operate within an office environment (how many employees?) and also another factor to take into consideration, is have you lost trained personnel due to people leaving the organisation?
An annual refresher would suffice, but the conducting of fire drills possibly twice a year maybe something to consider, again depending on whether you are talking about an office block or small operation. You could then have a debrief as to how effective the exercise was.
If you find any shortcomings, you can amend the training exercise to address these. Hope this helps you.
