I'm currently working in Belize as Unit Safety Advisor with the military and I'm due to leave for civvie street in the not too distant future. I see all too often on here about employment or the lack of it and I'm wondering what the best options are! In a dilemma as to working in the UK or abroad as this would be my first job in civvie street in over 23 years, any advice would be greatly appreciated at this time.

Regards

Tam

First of all, Respect to you and your colleagues for the great work you are all doing.

Tam, its bloody hairy out there and the latest place for safety professionals seems to be Africa. Join Linkedin and post your details there, which has advertises a fair few H&S posts in their various groups.

Keep an eye on the SHP website and hopefully you'll be lucky.
