I've been tasked with seeing how our H&S consultancy can take a few steps into Europe to try and broaden our client/activity base. I've looked on the web and haven't got very far-but then I'm not particularly Google literate. Has anyone out there got any ideas, suggestions, addresses etc which may help? All contributions gratefully accepted!

Firstly learn a countries culture, laws and the way it thinks as even producing marketing 'bumf' that translates English [inclusive of pictures etc] in such a way that it is offensive to prospective customers but not to you would end your efforts before they have begun noting that just because one culture may have different customs to another culture does not mean that H&S is seen as a bad thing; so gain that understanding The basics of 'do people treat people with respect' is the same the world over with 'tweaks' in my person opinion and I would try countries that are similar to the UK first before you move into other areas All this info for nothing! - I would not be supprised if your company had a marketing manager who's job it is to look at this area? Also 'selling' is an art as many a great 'practitioner' has made a poor salesperson so get that area right as well
