I am looking at going for an environmental qualification, and wondered what the general feeling was regarding IEMA v NEBOSH environmental certificate. I know the IEMA will give me associate membership where the NEBOSH will not, and I have been told IEMA is 10 days with NEBOSH at 5, but apart from these are there any major differences, and perhaps more importantly in this climate, which would carry more weight on a CV?
Thanks in anticipation for your help

Hello
I would make sure that you are comparing like with like firstly.
I have just completed the IEMA Associate Certificate and found it very useful as a start. Also many jobs at the moment require AIEMA (obviously depending on the level of job applying for) so I would make sure that if you want the CV benefit you make sure that any course you take gives you membership. I did the Associate course through Connaught which also gives you 1 year of membership AIEMA as well.
Hope this helps
