But unable to gain the first step on the Health & Safety ladder. I recently passed the Nebosh general cert and the Fire safety and risk management cert. I have 27 yrs work based knowledge split between catering and construction and have been both employed and employer. Can anyone enlighten me on the best course of action? I am also IT literate.I live in the Wigan area, drive and i am willing to travel. All advice treated with the greatest respect.

Try and do some networking at your local IOSH branch, this can be very beneficial.

Good Luck.
