We have currently specified the use of Beany Block Straight Backed, symmetrical with 630 base unit in one of our designs. The Contractor has liaised with the supplier who does not provide lifting eyes on the products or know of any device available to lift these products. As the products are used regularly on highways we suspect there must be a simple solution or piece of lifting equipment to resolve this problems. If anyone can assist we would be most grateful.

Thanks for your comments. Unfortunately most of these are for normal kerb lifting or the tops of Beany Blocks. As you will appreciate, the lower section is curved in nature and therefore the normal vacuum sucker will not work. We have spoken to Marshalls, who produce these items, and had no advice from them. Any further assistance would be appreciated

I would have thought one of the kerb lifter plates would be narrow enough to fit into the channel on the beany block? http://www.probst-handli...pdf/plates/sm_plates.pdfSorry but I don't know the exact dimensions of the beany channel - I'm sure I've seen something like this used though? MAy be worth 'phoning some of the vacuum lift people? Steve
