Gc, I suggest that your most appropriate action will depend on whether you are looking at this from a defence or claimant's angle. If defending then your insurers should be your first port of call. If seeking to claim for negligence then any of the major national solicitors will have medical negligence specialists who will probably work on a conditional fee arrangement and give a free initial opinion on whether there is a case to answer.
