Does anyone have any idea how many people are employed in construction? 1,590,000 CSCS cards are held in the UK apparently at this moment, this includes trades, trainees, graduates, PQP's, construction related occupations, and visitor cards. Just interested in the percentage of card holders against the number of non card holders. Probably more interested in the number of trade cards that are actually held in the uk against the number of non card holders. By the way 1,590,000 cards equals a turnover of over £27 million based on the current number of cards held at £17 each. Based on a five year turnaround thats just over £5 million annually. I'm sure they could do a lot better with that kind of turn over.

The figures are wrong, when it started it cost £27 and the number going through was higher in the early days so the figure could be double your estimate... I also do not believe that all holders are actually involved in construction, some other occuaptions use CPCS which also requires the CSCS...

Worth noting that as it is a transient industry, a percentage of people will be from abroad.
