I am a first time forum user - a major issue in our company is fork lift truck activity and manual handling.Does anyone have any information on how to mitigate risks associated with these activities? Many thanks, Andrew

Andrew, a great place to start is the HSE website which gives good avice on both of these subjects but from a UK legal perspective. If you are based outside UK the advice will still be valid but disregard the references to law. For manual handling this is a start: http://www.hse.gov.uk/pubns/indg143.pdf For FLts try here: http://www.hse.gov.uk/wo...personnel/lifttrucks.htm Spend some time navigating around the site and there's loads of good stuff freely available.
