We have been asked by the EHO to ensure we get "competent" people to review DSE self assessments and re-visit each workstation. I have been tasked to put together a presentation to "train" competent people up. These would be a mixture of managers and nominated people. This is for circa 350 DSE users. I would appreciate any help and advise anyone can give. Who would you consider to be a "Competent Person" and what type of training should they have? What would the minimum requirement be to satisfy the EHO in this respect? We are due to meet with the EHO again in 2 weeks to show what we propose. I have already re-designed the self assessments which now runs into 3 pages. Thanks if anyone can help.
