I own my own company and work from home with one other lady who helps me part time on admin work. Do I need PAT for the equipment that I use during my working day?

No There is no need to carry out PAT testing. All you need to do is maintain the equipment so carrying out a six monthly or yearly visual check of the electrical equipment would be sufficient especially in your circumstances. I have a leaflet i can email you which covers this subject quite well. Phil

There is nothing like the PAT question, and although I am on the face of it inclined to agree with Phil, you don't mention what sort of equipment you are using or in what sort of environment etc, and this is often a factor in deciding whether a 'test' should also form part of the overall maintenance regime. Plenty of simple guidance on the HSE website!
