Would anyone have any templates that could be suitable for inspections, maintenance and training for equipment and operatives of a Roofing Company? Appreciate any helpful PM's.

Have you considered joining the National Federation of Roofing Contractors? Membership will bring access to what you ask and much more. (I am not associated with the NFRC)

Cheers Ron but it's for a mate of mine who has his own company and its roots are firmly based in the past. I just advised him (unpaid) to get things up to date like his R/A's, inspection & maintenance records, training programme etc I could devise them for him but due to time restraints (and not getting paid) i thought i'd ask on here if anyone had a suitable template they use in a similar industry.

if your mate Googles "roofing risk assessment", he'll find some very useful info/guidance

Having a risk assessment without the competence and ownership behind it is not the way to go - I bet that he has [and can afford] a competent accountant so he should have a competent H&S adviser

I agree, Bob. It's my mates father's company and he is firmly entrenched in his set ways, 'the way we've always done it' but his lad will be taking over during the next 3 or 4 years and wants to have some sort of platform to work on to 'move with the times' as he put it.
