Hi All, Realise that the wires will be running hot thanks (!) to Lord Young, but is anyone doing anything on electrical vehicles and workshop safety? The angle is about possible risks to workers in the industry. I'm in Australia and this is an issue that I've been asked to do something on so was wondering if anyone was a bit of a wizz on this??

The main hazards I can think of are segregation of vehicles from pedestrians and electrical charging areas http://www.hse.gov.uk/pubns/indg139.pdf ->has some good safety info on electrical batteries http://www.hse.gov.uk/wo...transport/separating.htm -> has some good info on pedestrian / vehicle safety If you have a more specific question, you may get more answers. There are lots of rules and regulations in the UK which cover use of work equipment, lifting equipment, electrical safety etc. I presume you have similar in the land of Oz
