i would say the best thing to do is to contact the company you are dealing with / working with in Russia. however British Standards are some of the best around so i can't see another country require a higher standard to be able to work on their site. From previous work experience in different countries PPE and H&S is something never heard off let alone followed. I would say the requirements we have over here should meet that of most countries around the world, make sure you take sufficient PPE with you as it may not exist elsewhere. If you have not luck with help form the company you are working with in Russia then just send them a list of what your employees will be using as PPE whilst working out there that way they can't say there weren't aware beforehand.
