Hi all,

Posted a few weeks ago so thank you for your replies. Have the Nebosh Cert and passed the exams of the Dip (have Unit D to do in-order to graduate) - have been in the training industry for past couple of years but want to do something else now, however, I will continue to train but in different topics such as Safety Passport and IOSH Managing Safely.

Would love a H & S role, but as like so many others on this site haven't any real H & S experience other than the basics.

I live in NE Lincolnshire but would travel almost anywhere for the right post, I used to work in manufacturing/warehousing so it would make sense to find a H & S role in this sector.

Am willing to 'shadow' someone for free to gain the experience but would rather have a full-time paid job. I have safety audit experience.

If anyone can help then please get intouch.

Thanks

chris

HI Chris, keep the faith, I spent a longtime looking until I found my current role ( H&S Manager ) and came to that without a massive amount of experience. I noticed last week that Total were advertising for a training officer and a SHE, that might be worth a CV ... might be a way into a bigger organisation with a view to gleaning as much safety experience as you can......
Regards

Mark
