What a useful tool for training in the Aviation industry,I for one will use it.I always feel we in the Aviation part of Health & Safety are a bit left out when it comes to training information. My personnel don't pay much attention when they see a building site or office H&S training information. Id like to see a DVD concerning workshop hazards within the maintenance and production areas of Aviation, maybe we could get companies like Bae systems,Airbus,Augusta Westlands,Vector and some of the smaller companies involved in another DVD. Does anyone else out there agree ? Please let me know your thoughts, maybe we can get some thing going.

Hi Cliff Glad you liked the airside DVD, we are getting plenty of positive feedback on it. I will make sure that Paul MacKenzie and Keith Merrie (Chair and Vice Chair) of the AAG are aware of your post when I am back in the office next week. We were thinking of doing a similar DVD for bmi engineering but in the current climate 'extras' such as this have been put on hold but not forgotten. However, I do think this would be a useful tool for the industry and if we get enough interest I am sure it can go on the AAG 'to do' list in the future. I will take any other thoughts posted on this forum back to the committee. Brgds Rod IOSH AAG Web Champion

In case anyone is wondering what the Airside DVD is, that Cliff and I have referred to, the details can be found on the AAG web pages at this link: http://www.iosh.co.uk/gr.../airside_safety_dvd.aspx Brgds Rod IOSH AAG Web Champion
