Hi and thanks for reading.
I am looking to carryout some weekly internal warehouse racking inspections in addition to the annual inspections. Does anyone have a suitable weekly inspection sheet.
Kind regards
Darren

Saw a good system the other week for inspections.
The client was using coloured cable ties, attached to the verticals and cross members, following inspection.
The system went like this:-
Damaged racking identified, inspected and tagged at point of damage.
Green - paintwork damage only, NFA needed.
Orange - Minor damage but structural integrity not affected. Consider replacing in future but continue to monitor.
Red - Serious structural damage in need of repair.
Benefits:-
Cable ties are cheap and easily visible.
Prevents re-reporting / rechecking of existing damage.
Enables racking contractors to identify areas of work.
Visual impact - a warehouse full of orange and red tags would indicate problems with FLT use / driver training issues.
