One for the Gas Safety gurus.
Is there a specific legal requirement (Gas Safety Installation and Use)/ Building Regulations etc.) placed on Landlords to install and maintain CO detectors in new or existing domestic dwellings?

MB1 the document you reference would look to apply this only to solid fuel appliances, not gas.

I looked into this issue just a few years ago and the answer then was no. If it had changed recently I'm sure it would have been publicised. There have been campaigns aimed at increasing provision of CO detectors, particularly for student accommodation, but no legislation that I'm aware of.
