Hi every one and a happy new year!

Now that the festive season has come and gone, I am currently looking for ideas on a return to work toolbox talk.

All suggestions are welcome.

Kind Regards

Something pertinent to a task due to be carried out perhaps?

Colin,
I would go for a Safety Stand Down or Safety Time Out rather than Toolbox Talk, covering all employees together in one go...

Congratulate them on the previous years achievements, talk about 2011 expectations & Goals. The most imporatant thing is trying to keep it positive and not too boring! No one wants to come back after the new year perioid and be drawn into a 2 hour toolbox talk about Health & Safety Statistics (apart from Directors and Seniour Managers maybe!?!)

You could mention weather conditions that are causing problems underfoot or for driving to and from work but nothing to seroius, leave that for the next toolbox talk.

Hope that helps
