Hello
I am looking to boost my CV with a fire safety course that will provide evidence of competence for fire risk assessments, fire safety training etc. I have a wealth of experience in this area but no formal recognised training - can anyone suggest the best course for my CV as well as compentence evidence if meeting with a Fire Officer
Thanks in advance

Hi,
I recently undertook a three day fire risk assessment course with the Fire protection Association (www.thefpa.co.uk) at the fire training college in Morton in Marsh in Gloucestershire. I found it a very informative course.
Regards
Dave

Hopeful,
The Nebosh Fire & Risk Management Cert. is a good starting point. You indicate that you have experience in this field, are you ex Fire Service?
I did Nebosh Fire a couple of years ago, already have General Cert. i am also ex fire service. With the qualifications and my experience in fire safety, i was accepted into thr IFE (Institute of Fire Engineers). This gives me acceptance with Fire Officers and is also a good way to improve your CV.
Good Luck
