Hi I am wanting to either buy or loan some good quality reference text books either from the library or the nearest book seller to prepare for the Open Assessment. Can anyone recommend some good quality reading material? I know the OA can examine a broad range of topics but a reliable text book which offers a broad knowledge of technical information would be a good start

Hill I would not beat yourself up for the technical side, concentrate on what you do in your role as this will be the area they concentrate on i.e. If you worked in oil/gas then a range of questions could be around COMAH. Its not a point scoring exercise to see how much technical jargon you can retain its more to identify your range of skills and knowledge in the sector you work
