I joined 4networking on a 6 months trial basis you can attend up to 4 meetings a week at any of the 4networking group anywhere in the country but there will be lots within 30-40 miles of where you are.the meeting start at 8.00am and last for 2 hours and cost £10 which include breakfast (some are especially good) +plus joining fee. You get a guaranteed 3 X 10 minutes appointments with someone in the room if there is someone you want to talk to book an appointment straight away even before you sit down for breakfast also look at doing the 10 minute presentation to the room but keep it fun as that is what sells I found them better than BNI where you can only attend the same group once a week also they start at 7.00am which meant having to leave home 5.30-6.00am very unsociable hours. I personally found it useful for getting contacts around accountants and printers etc but didn't really have much success in selling my services but it could be different for you and certainly worth ago as you never know where the next client might come form. I'm still in contact with a couple of people who i meet through the networking who help me out from time to time. But you will be mainly selling to small business's the head of tesco or asda won't be there. In case you haven't come across them get in contact with business link they run FREE courses on starting up your own business and definitely worth going on sooner rather than later Phil
