Hi, My understanding of pregnant employees is that you have to either make adjustments to their workplace or find them an alternative role if currently unsuitable, otherwise suspend them on full pay. However, what if they have an existing medical condition which is exasperated by their pregnancy i.e a bad back and it is this that is making their current role uncomfortable, rather than the pregnancy itself? Any suggestions/clarification would be appreciated. Thanks, Paul

They would still be covered under the pregnancy at work rules. Had a similar issue, PM me for more details if you want.
