The Scottish Government has issued a Scottish Standard Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (Draft for Consultation). There are extensive sections on H&S etc for works, CDM and Social Care.

Consultation ends 11th Feb.

I understand the Welsh Assembly has (or is considering?) something broadly similar.

I'd be interested in your thoughts Bob, on or off Forum.

Thanks Ron for drawng this to our attention. I believe IOSH should respond to the consultation as, though Section 10 on H&S is quite good, I can see a few minor improvements which would better demonstrate that Scottish Government is acting as an exemplar.

I've sent my thoughts to Murray Clark at IOSH and recommend that anyone else in Scotland who wishes to comment (praise as well as suggested improvements) should do the same quickly, as there isn't much time left.

Thanks for that imwaldra. I wouldn't say Section 10 is good though. I would refer all concerned to PAS 91.
