We have about 10 teams of 3 people (electrical engineers) all over the country.
What should be our first aid provision?
The teams chop and change all the time aswell?
At the moment all vehicles have a first aid box.....our accident book states that the majority of entries are for minor cuts to the hand......the electricians have mobile phone contact with the outside world.

small chop & change teams of small groups of people working with electricity all over the place?
If I were to do that risk assessment I would probably come up with;
All of them!

If you can pull enough of them out the field at one time to warrant it, you should be able to have enough to fill a course and run it at your own venue. It will be cheaper and you should be able to get a trainer who will charge a course fee as opposed to a per head fee.

Looks like you need to look at the causes of all those hand injuries. They may be minor now but may lead to something bigger?
I agree Emergency first aid at work should suffice.

Zoltangera, I know of more than one company that can provide HSE approved first-aid (3day course) for around £1200 for up to 12 candidates. You should shop around.
That’s £100 per person?

Z, you don't give us much to go on! Off the top of my head, what sort of work are they doing, are they in anothers premises where there might be first aid cover, how remote are the sites etc etc. As always, it's up to you to determine what provision you think you need and for you to justify your decision if necessary. That might not sound helpful, but in practical terms that is the situation.
