Hi, I have just gained my Nebosh General Certificate and am looking for an entry postion role in the south east of the UK. I have 26 years experience in Banking and risk and am looking to change direction to specialise in Health and safety. If you have heard of any jobs going I would appreciate if you could let me know. Thanks

Hi, I have looked so far with all the usual agencies etc and on the job boards. I am realistic enough to know I would need to look at an assistant H&S role/adviser as I have limited amount of experience in H&S in its purest form as my current experience in in risk, compliance etc which did included H&S but not totally H&S. I would want to look to see if I could start as an assistant and then work my way back up to a manager level role. Does that answer the questions - any thoughts? thanks

Have you thought of volunteering within your own previous area of expertise as an H&S advisor (i.e. banking)? Are you currently a member of IOSH and if so are you attending your local branch meetings? You can often here about jobs that are never advertised in the usual maket such as agencies.
