In the ROI are FAS/CSCS cards required in other types of work, apart from Construction?

Michaelt, Fas Safe Pass and CSCS are only required where the 2006 Construction Regulations apply , although the FAS safe pass would extend to operatives such as on site security or associated occupations . The CSCS as with all cards would demonstrate competence in any industry such as slinger signaller , mobile crane in agriculture , docks etc where the regs may not always apply in some instances. The regulations outline the specific requirements for competency cards in schedules 3 & 4 and also the instances where they are not required EVEN within the construction industry , PM me if you want a copy .
