Hi Does anyone have any idea where in the PPE regs it states what type of cold weather clothing ie: tog rating etc to use in a warehouse when it's freezing cold. Thanks

85 e States: "Cold from working outside or in a cold/freezer area – use clothing made of thick or padded material or multilayer leather or fabric or thermal insulating fabrics. Minus 25 and Minus 50 suits are available which are designed to protect at these subzero temperatures" You should also consider hand and feet protection against cold environments. Check out the guidance here...http://www.hse.gov.uk/pubns/priced/l25.pdf I think the EU standard for cold weather clothing is EN 342, you might find some more info there... GC
