Hi, Can anyone recommend some good courses for competency in noise and HAV assessment please? INVC were recommended but only have training dates for 2009 on their website...

BOHS run various courses on noise and vibration. Course proivders will depend on your location, south of england I can recommend Gully Howard (not affiliated) or even look at HSL labs: http://www.hsl.gov.uk/tr...ty-training-courses.aspx Des

The Institute of Accoustics have a few courses in noise and vibration assessment. There are links to providers of these courses from their website. Course information can be found here: http://www.ioa.org.uk/education-and-training/

Thanks for the responses people! I was meant to be attending a seminar by The Castle Group tomorrow but it was cancelled. A few hours after I posted this someone from their company called me and offered to send someone out to see us and give us some help; so I'll have a chat with their rep next week....
