Good Morning to all, Having just attended the IOSH breakfast seminar, i am very interested in delivering working/managing safely. IMHO the Cskills SSSTS has the greater popularity. Any ideas for market research? Steve................

Good Morning, I am from a construction background and IMHO I believe that in our industry, the SSSTS and SMSTS are the certificate/course preferred by many Main Contractors. We as a company endorse the above and actively engage sub contractors(after other lines of vetting competence and as an addition).that have suitably competent supervision, one part of this process is that they hold one of the above certificates. I am also interested in gaining acreditation to deliver these courses if any one has any contacts or info to share on gaining the above. I currently hold the 5 year SMSTS and found the course interesting and informative. Regards. Michael

Michael, Regarding delivering the SSSTS or SMSTS as a trainer or provider you would need to contact Cskills. The criteria to be a trainer is a minimum of NEBOSH and to hold a PTTLLS level 3. Steve

Michael, Just to clarify Steve's good comment, the minimum criteria is a NEBOSH Construction certificate, PTLLS and a construction background at a supervisory level - you can get the details from www.cskills.org Good luck Gavin
