Hi can anyone help me get some more experience,I.E voluntary or paid as all the jobs I apply for state although well qualified I lack experience thanks but no thanks and the ones I get offered are either abroad on poor leave cycles or unsuitable.

Have a word with the membership department I think that they may be able to help, also keep a close eye on the April edition of the SHP I understand that an article may be included on this specific issue.

If you want experience sometimes you have to take roles that aren't completely suitable and live with it for a while, you'll have to decide for yourself what your plan involves for you.

I read the article on April edition of SHP titled "New pilot scheme to give graduates a head start". I am in same shoes as you, Michaelc and i think this proposed shadowing scheme will be of tremendous help to most of us.
