Hi Guys,

Has anyone out there ever come across the correct paint color for a pipe containing methanol, I have looked at BS1710 and ansi, but mostly these are for labeling and not the painting.
Is it normally left up to yourself??
Pipe work is not stainless but mild steel.

Thanks,

T

Hi there,

don't have my copy of the BS to hand but memory throws up brown for flammable liquids!

No doubt someone will be able to check.
