Hi guys, looking for a little help and guidance on providing a return RTW interview.
This is not something I have been involved with in the past.
The company have not done them before.

I can only be very brief as I am popping out.

Briefly, the interview should normally be conducted by the manager, to ffer support, understand the reasons for being off, whether there is anything that the manager can do to help prevent or reduce the likelihood and length of further absences and to give the employee an update on anything that has been going on in their absence.

Clearly the length and depth of the interview will be dependant on the length of absence, whether there is any significant/recurring pattern of absence, the reason for the absence etc.

The RTW interview does differ from a performance review interview which is more formal in the event of recurring or significant absence.
