Has anyone seen this article? http://www.lge.gov.uk/lg...e/page.do?pageId=1192366 What does it mean to us? Do they get the same H&S induction as employees? i.e. PPE, accident reporting, etc?

I've always given the same H&S induction to agency workers - what's the reason not to?

If I remember rightly, agency workers are entitled to exactly the same protection under H&S as permanent staff, which includes training, information and supervision, correct me if I am wrong though...

The Agency Worker Regulations 2010 attempts to level the playing field for agency workers to ensure they get the same basic working and employment conditions than a full time employee of that organisation would get. The relevent terms and conditions the Regs its trying to level out is defined in Regulation 6: (a)pay (b)the duration of working time (c)night work (d)rest periods (e)rest breaks (f)annual leave
