Hi I am looking for a company that supplies the fingerprint scan equipment that can be used to ID people on entry/exit to site. Can anyone recommend a contact please? Regards Linda

Hi Linda. Why are you looking for fingerprint scanners? What is wrong with just issuing photo ID cards? Mike

We use a system that doesn't use fingerprints, but builds a 3D image of the hand, this gets around people becoming suspicious of fingerprint being held on file. It has been in use for over 3 years and has saved a fortune in replacing lost/damaged cards. I will pm you the details

Carole Thanks - that would be good. Mike, because the photo cards are rife with forgery with several prosecutions made successfully already so I am told by the client. Hence they are asking for us to find another solution. regards Linda

Linda, the new CSCS cards now have chips that can record all details on them, readers only cost about £16.50 ish. I think they're called CSCS Smartcard, For actual fingerprint scanners or readers you may want to try http://www.supremainc.co...product/ls_00.php?mark=5 Cheers Grant
