Recently we are conducting hydrotest on a piperack pipeline. The details are: pressure test=145bar, diameter of pipe=4inches, and approx length of pipe:15meters long. With this data, is it enough to calculate the minimum safe distance to make a barricade? or is there any formula for this?

I suggest you start with the HSE publication GS4, which is available as a free download from the HSE site http://books.hse.gov.uk/...alogueCode=9780717616299 Jane
