Hi all other than excavators, strimmers FLT. That require formal training how do you record employees when working with such equipment as lawn mowers, strimmers, drills and hand tools? would it be best to create an inventory of work equipment and a supervisor to then record familiarisation training? what works best for you? Cheers D

David I would suggest that you trawl through `National Occupational Standards’ (a google search will help on this matter), and you will be able to find a specific competence criteria that fits any activity in a workplace. Based on your search you will be able to develop your own competence based assessment for each activity
