Hi all

I am looking to take a more systematic approach to our existing SMS

how do you currently measure your own performance?

Hi Dave.

Compliance with legal requirements- are all FLT's inspected as per LOLER?
Reduction in accidents- self explanatory.
Compliance with company policies- are all accidents investigated within a specific time frame?

Within the legal requirements there will be more than just LOLER and FLT's and whatever company policies exist with regard to H&S can also be audited. That will give you an indication of the companies performance.
