Well Im definately on the lookout for a new position.

I am after a job where my skills, experience and knowledge are used and Im not just a yes man sat as a title on company policies etc.

My talents are wasted where I am currently employed and its frustrating me!

A little about myself....I started in health and safety after a 6 year career in the Royal Navy and have been doing it as a job since about the year 2002. All my training has been self funded. I hold the following qualifications.

NEBOSH Diploma
NEBOSH Cert
Other various Health and Safety Qualifications like asbestos awareness etc.

I have delivered IOSH managing safely & working safely courses for past employers and was given the green light (by NEBOSH) to teach NEBOSH certificate before I left for new pastures.

I have worked in warehousing/Window manufacturing/consultancy/training amongst other workplace environments.

I have saved companies small fortunes (an example is my present company will save over £36k over the next 5 years due to a process I have introduced). I actually took courses in PAT and BAFE fire extinguisher maintenance in order to prevent my employee being "fleeced" with regard to these subjects.

I have responsibility for ISO 14001 & BS OHSAS 18001 in my present employment.....after being saddled with them I have got us through recent external audits in the last couple of months.

Somebody please come and rescue me! I am based in the Black Country area of the West Midlands.
