Hi David,
I presume (we all know what that can do) that you have used the HSE Guidance [ free at : http://www.hse.gov.uk/pubns/priced/hsg97.pdf ] for structure and content, probably the most important things will be to not 'gold plate' it and to make it directly relevant to your company activities and substances - that way you gain updated assessments for stuff in use and the current working practices. out of the training activity.
Good luck,
S

There are many aspects to COSHH and training, but I would emphasise that the hazardous properties and controls for a substance are dependant on a number of variables. There is a tendency for a one size fits all COSHH RA, which is in itself a dangerous assumption. For example, whether the substance is used inside, inside well ventilated, outside, the amount used, whether it is in transit, storage, hot, cold, wet, dry, potential cross contamination and so on. Each individual COSHH RA should take into account the substance use, misuse and environment.
Good luck - Ray.

What prerequisites are you stipulating for your prospective audience?
