Not done a risk assessment but the end result would always be fatal. Just look at what you do and try to avoid that end result.

Have you considered the experience of the syndicate members? If they are inexperienced I would be inclined to specify ratio of one 'Coach' per shooter. If the coaches are being paid, then it's a job to them and a risk assessment is necessary. It's still a good idea whether it's a professional requirement or not. I know there is a lot of people on this forum with a similar background to mine who know only too well that this is one aspect of life where you don't get chance to learn from your mistakes.

I've done shooting RA's for game shoots etc. Happy to send one over if you let me know where to send it (will have to sanitise it a bit first!). Whoever said below that you don't need one obviously doesn't appreciate that bullets & shot don't stop where or when you want and there is the possibility of beaters etc. being in the line of fire! Hello, I'd be really interested to also see your risk assessment if possible? Game shooting is a past-time of mine and so I have some experience within this field, excuse the pun! These days a lot of the larger shoots have a number of employees to ensure the days experience goes well. If the shoot has 5 or more employees at any one time then there is a legal requirement to have a H&S policy or risk criminal prosecution. If you have visited BASC's (British Association of Shooting and Conservation) website there is lot's of guidance to help you ensure your syndicate days are safe days to remember. Below is a general list of hazards that should be considered. Don't forget emergencies aswell by the way! From experience I've witnessed an elderly gent keel over from a heart attack, with the air ambulance having to be called out due to the location. Unfortunately this gentleman never recovered and died doing what he loved. I've got to admit I can think of far worse ways to leave mother earth.
