This question has been bugging me for ages, I had no idea that not knowing something could be so stressful! As it's Friday I thought I'd muster up the courage to ask; What were centipedes called before the metric system was introduced? ;-)

Stay still blue person, I'll get help 999 'hello, ambulance please I found a blue person on the road and he needs help. He's rambling on incoherently about centipedes and frightening the girls. Well centi is Latin for hundred, so maybe the metric system was based on the centipedes....although according to QI there has never been a centipede found with a hundred legs...which might explain the mess of our economy system..... :)

Mr.Flibble i totally agree with you they really couldnt have picked a harder word to spell for peolpe who have trouble spelling! Diyslecseaa?
