Company I currently work for are now looking at contracts that will involve the use of tower cranes, whilst we have no problem with this I need to look at the rescue procedure for the crane operator and so was wondering if any one had templates they would share or pint me in the right direction. Hi Paul, I will PM you the guidance that I have and a template plan . From experience the only effective form of rescue for a tower crane operator is with a propriatery rescue kit . I will also PM you with the companies that I have used for training and they are both very professional in their approach . Kits can be costly but unfortunately I can speak from experience regarding the importance of a trained , competent rescue team on site. The price of the kit is soon forgotten when it is used for real . May I also suggest that at least one of the rescue team are first aiders. Phil.
