I've just been catching up on some reading of SHP and the article 'Grass-roots Appeal' in the July issue. I would appreciate some thoughts on good ways to get staff involved in workplace H&S. To give some background - we have recently been pulled up on an audit for a lack of workforce involvement. I work in an office environment and we run quarterly H&S meetings at which we have nominated attendees - representing different 'functions' within the workplace. We have also invited TU representatives (and they've not attended) and put out an open invite for all/any staff to attend (but have not had anyone taking us up on the offer). Your thoughts, recommendations!?

Andy I wrote the article in question for the July SHP and have a several ideas which have been summated in a book on the subject. E-mail me if you are interested in buying a copy. Cheers. Nigel
