Morning,

can anyone tell me what the difference is, if any between:

1. Scotland Building regs and the UK Building Regs
2. Scotland Fire Act 2005 and Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005

I am interested in Fire Exit Travel Distances, I would imagine they should all be the same distance shouldnt they.....

You would think so but the travel distances are not the same. Also in Scotland distances are specified against building type and speed of evacuation i.e. very slow, slow, medium and "other".
