http://www.hse.gov.uk/pr...1/hse-asbestospledge.htm
"The free training will be available throughout October and November and is aimed at tradesmen such as joiners, electricians and plumbers who are most likely to disturb the fibres as they go about their work - around 20 a week lose their lives to asbestos-related diseases."

Is this correct, that 20 joiners, electricians and plumbers are losing their lives every week due to asbestos?

Does anyone know how I might be able to participate in this?

I mean as a trainer.
I deliver my own asbestos awareness training in house, but its not accedited by anyone.
I'm not aware of the bodies listed by the HSE link or how to join them.

I feel quite strongly about this subject having lost 2 relatives to asbestos related diseases & would happily give up holiday entitlement to do these.
